A small round reader in a pale honey tortoise that is being retired, reduced for the last run.
The same power in both eyes. Ready readers are not a substitute for an eye test. Lens guide
Choose a power before adding it.
A 46 mm round in a light, honey-coloured tortoise. The colour is leaving the range because the darker tortoise outsells it four to one, and the final run is reduced against the price it sold at over the previous thirty days. Keyhole bridge, moulded pin hinges, the usual aspheric lens.
Same power in both eyes, average centres, not a substitute for an eye test. Moulded frame, so it marks more easily than sheet acetate; the keyhole bridge cannot be adjusted; it loosens in heat.

Worn first. Six of us wore this frame daily for a month before it was listed. The weight and the hinge type above are what we measured, not what the supplier told us.
Orders from €70,00 ship free; below that it is €4,50. Two to three working days in Finland, three to six for most of the EU.
Anything unworn, in its case, can come back within 30 days. Hinges and lens coatings are covered for 2 years. The full policy.

Measured my old pair as the fit guide said, ordered the matching size, and it sat right without a visit to the optician for bending. The weight on the page was the weight on my kitchen scales.
Second frame. The first was glazed by my optician without any fuss - she liked that the demo lens was already the right shape.
Exactly as described, including the part about the coating smudging. It does. The cloth set sorted it, but I would have liked that in bigger letters.
Ready readers come in one frame size (M) and are chosen by power. If you already own a pair that works, order the same power. If not, this is a rough starting point by age, and an optician’s eye test is the accurate one.
| Power | Typical age | Comfortable at |
|---|---|---|
| +1.0 | 40–44 | Arm’s length, a laptop |
| +1.5 | 45–49 | A book held comfortably |
| +2.0 | 50–54 | A book, a phone |
| +2.5 | 55–59 | Close print, labels |
| +3.0 | 60+ | Very close work |
Ready readers have the same power in both eyes. They are not a substitute for an eye test.
