Wider than it is tall, cut from 4 mm acetate so it sits lighter than the square frame while still taking a full prescription. The smoke colourway is translucent grey and reads as almost nothing from a few metres away; the black is opaque. The 17 mm bridge suits a narrower nose than most of our frames.
Translucent acetate shows scratches more than an opaque one, and like all acetate it will loosen if it is left somewhere hot. The thinner sheet also means it flexes more than the square frame - fine on the face, less fine under a stack of books.
