An unlined vegetable-tanned leather sleeve with a press stud, for a frame in a bag or a pocket.
Choose an option before adding it.
A soft sleeve rather than a hard case: two pieces of 1.8 mm vegetable-tanned leather stitched along three sides, a press stud at the mouth, nothing inside. It keeps a frame from being scratched and keeps a wire frame from being bent by the other things in a bag, but it will not save acetate from being sat on. Fits every frame here folded, including the large soft square.
Unlined leather is slightly rough inside until it has been used for a few weeks and will polish the frame rather than scratch it, but it is not microfibre: keep the cloth for the lenses. The tan darkens noticeably in the first six months.

Care. Wipe with a damp cloth. It will darken and mark with use; that is the leather, not a fault.

Measured my old pair as the fit guide said, ordered the matching size, and it sat right without a visit to the optician for bending. The weight on the page was the weight on my kitchen scales.
Second frame. The first was glazed by my optician without any fuss - she liked that the demo lens was already the right shape.
Exactly as described, including the part about the coating smudging. It does. The cloth set sorted it, but I would have liked that in bigger letters.
Look inside the temple of a pair you own. The first number is the lens width; match it to the nearest size here. If there is nothing written there, measure the width of one lens with a ruler.
| Size | Lens width | Total frame width | Face width, temple to temple |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 47 mm | about 128 mm | under 132 mm |
| M | 50 mm | about 134 mm | 132–140 mm |
| L | 53 mm | about 140 mm | over 140 mm |
Bridge and temple length do not change between sizes on any frame here.
